Nine-layer Engineered Flooring

Description
This fabulous hardwood series incorporates both exotic and domestic wood species in rich natural colours, each featuring unique hues and incredible wood graining patterns. Abco’s nine-layer engineered flooring is manufactured by a fully automated production line consisting of only German technology and machinery. Only European coatings and bonding adhesives are used in production. Our engineered flooring products are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9002 as well as the German DIN 280 Part 5 standards. Plus, they are milled with a precision straight-line milling process for extra-tight tolerances and a clean, precise fit.

Versatile
Abco’s engineered floors are suitable for all types of flat, dry and hard surfaces and can be installed on, above or below ground level. The hardwood top layer is finished with seven layers of environmentally friendly UV urethane with aluminum oxide additive. The surface is durable and moisture-resistant.

Unique Construction
Micro-beveled edges accentuate each individual plank. They feature solid hardwood milled to a thickness of 5/8" so they can be installed right up to existing cabinetry and under existing doors. The hardwood top layer is cross-directionally constructed with the core layer while the third layer is backed with hardwood for balance and stability. This construction counteracts any seasonal changes in the wood due to variations in temperature and humidity. The precise tongue and groove mechanism locks the boards together and helps prevent separation. The result is a more stable installation that is less susceptible to unwanted movement found in some other wood flooring.
